About the Event

Learn how to take an idea of a character and develop it into an image.  Your character can develop into a potential graphic novel or a piece to frame and put up on your wall.  This workshop is in collaboration with Visibility Arts.  Visibility Arts of Search, Inc. provides opportunities for self- expression, creativity, and achievement for adult with intellectual and developmental disabilities.  Lead by Visibility Artist, Pam, the workshop will show different strategies and methods to come up with a character idea. Once you identify your idea, you will be lead on how to evolve or enhance your character in a visual drawing. All materials are included to create your own charatcer image. Makers of all ages and abilities are welcome. No previous art expereince required.

Kids Create Change strives to provide free programming in an effort to make the arts available to all people.  There is no charge for this workshop but we do accept donations to help us continue this mission.  If you are able to contribute, $10 covers the cost for art materials for one participant and $25 includes materials and artist fees.  Any amount is much appreciated!

*As an act of mutual care and responsibility masks are required at all Studio 3 events.
