About the Bill: Texas Senate Bill 8 (SB 8) prohibits all abortions beginning at six weeks of pregnancy — before many women even realize they are pregnant — regardless of reason or right. It further authorizes any person to sue anyone who "aids or abets" an abortion or has any intent to have an abortion after six weeks, rewarding that person with a $10,000 bounty. This most recent bill is not just an egregious attack on reproductive rights that blatantly defies Roe v. Wade, it is an all out war against our basic principles of constitutional governance and our fundamental human rights.
Event is free! All are welcome! No experience necessary! All materials provided!
